Remembering You!

Sometimes we are reminded on days like these, of tender moments, smiles and tears
Of words to console and words to scold.

Today I remember someone close, someone dear, someone true...
I remember you, though you're no longer here...

But I remember for me, for those living and for those who hold a piece of your heart.
I am reminded of time; how precious, how significant, how fickle...

Like vapour it vanishes without a trace, never to reclaim
Yet, memories linger to and fro - like a gentle breeze, it caresses my soul.

To be comforted right now is what many seek,
is what we hope and pray for... healing

But like many broken hearts, time heals all wounds.
Although, I don't write this to be consoled or for sorrow...

I write because your life made an impression...
Your presence is felt still, because your smile remains.

Today and always I remember you...
...on this day you were given - your birthday!

...a soul rests and I rejoice in your peace.

A mind's turmoil

I thought it would be easier to leave her standing there

With her broken heart, her insecurities, her fears...

I thought I did not care...

He would try his best to read me, to get me, to see me.

He would come and stay silent for a while and watch me...

Me, as I stared blankly, beyond him - not seeing him.

I would close my eyes and drift away, momentarily

Wishing that life would revive me.

Wishing to reclaim me - an I identity, lost.

No tears fall from these cold eyes,

Frozen emotions that feel no emotion...

Though, love was there, standing beside me

This coma was more than I could bare...

It's all in my mind, they say...

but in reality, I'm living a nightmare.

She is my love, She's the one I long to hold and reassure...

Reassure her that I'm here and will always be here.

I see her turmoil written on the lines that crease her forehead -

Her face, sullen; eyes distant...

and I feel her torture seeping into my soul; I wish to rid the pain that she holds...

But she's not letting me in...

Drifting like the waves crashing on the sand, she moves like she's in a trance.

This trance has taken her over.

I long for the glimpse of her smile of a happier time - a breath of fresh air to my soul -

Her eyes dancing with the sun as she laughs...

Yes, I wish to revive the warmth of her touch now frail and stone cold...

If only... I want to make this journey with her...

If her world is no longer here and in a distance place - I want to be there...

Sigh...

He's so confused right now... He's looking at me still, trying to read me.

Oh how I want to tell him... So much I want him to know, but...

He's hurting for me... I want him to go away..

Why doesn't he leave?

My eyes are now affixed on her back; her body in a slant...

Droppy shoulders send me a warning - hopeless...

And I am in a hopeless state right now, cause I can't leave her.

In and out a maze of confusion

A realm of illusion...

Mind trailing mind...

Boxed in a world without escape...

No doors, no shutters, no window pane...

Cast away like the forgotten...

An inevitable fate.

And if an embrace could heal

or that one solitary touch, could melt a heart

maybe the right words to say,

the right moment, the right time...

Maybe we'd break free from the caged mind -

walls that blocked out the memory of us.

Could we co-exist again, in a world of revolving doors?

Maybe we'd break the silence...

but then, are we conscious?

Resuscitate

20.11.2010

How beautiful the sound of silence,

when love pervades the air...

Savouring perfume and colognes, musky

for one so lucky.

There's no need for small talk

No room for chitter chatter

Only the language of two souls

Discovering layers beneath layers

Revealing hidden secrets, places  -

places the eyes dreamed to explore

21.12.2010

Under covers, cotton sheets and woven thread...

Hint of treasures... a wild imagination fantasizes.

A fantasy so real to touch...

A pleasure so potent.

The innocent but not so innocent thoughts

Unravel and unwrap the present within

and at the first glimpse of a wish come true,

a shimmer of surprise, a twitch of a smile...

Beckons the child within...

Curves, bumps, hands and toes

Dreams surreal

Smooth, soft, warm, hot

Feeling, feeling,

... thoughts cease to think and

Love's got a whole new meaning

body temperature's rising.

Clear

Splice

We take for granted the little things,

The moments that steal our breaths...

We take the beauty out of beautiful,

When we fail to see what was beautiful...

If we trim the hedges, dig out the weeds and clutter, maybe.

Maybe, we'd begin to see what was hidden

Maybe we'd stop and stare and wonder and care.

Like gasping for air, we'd be shocked into consciousness

Awakened to the manifestation of sight.

But sometimes it is the little things, seemingly insignificant things that escape us,

only to be discovered or recovered later on, if the fates allow...

We've missed so much because our backs were turned.

We've missed so much because we were not free

We've missed so much because we chose not to see -

Love in our midst, in our grasps, in front of us - dancing...

Trying to get our attention.

We take for granted the little things that mean the world...

The moments of life that capture you - memories of a lifetime.

Maybe our hearts were hardened by what our eyes saw...

Clouding the sacred, purity of a solitary moment.

Life can do that sometimes.

We forget to love...

We forget how to love and be loved.

We hold our breaths and neglect to exhale...

Turning a blind eye is easy.

Hating is easy, but loving...

Loving is hard.

Loving is hard.

Bleeding

MyFreeCopyright.com Registered & Protected

I wish to purge myself

Rid myself of all the waste and unwanted matter.

I do not want the heavy load, the baggage, the rubbish...

Cause it is what it is...

Fears fear me and not the other way around...

Call me crazy, call me insane

Take this pain and rip its heart out...

There'll be no life left for it to live.

Hurt has no place in my life - not anymore...

Yet, right now I am bleeding...

Bleeding these words from my soul

Blotting out everything meaningless...

These red splotches have purpose -

Each drop of blood won't go unnoticed.

I'm planting this seed...

Deep in the recesses of your mind...

To the conscious and to those unconscious - I will shake you!

Give you a rude awakening...

Too much sleeping leaves you sluggish and unprepared...

I want to attack the sick and rid the disease that plagues your mind.

I will move like a swam of antibodies fighting to sustain a life form...

White blood cells that you are

A new breed must germinate -

Must emanate from within -

Something greater must emerge

Than what is and what was -

We need to harvest a healthy produce:

Conscious minded

Critical thinkers

Leaders and Revolutionists

Dare I say, INDIVIDUALS

and not CLONES for people.

I am BLEEDING for souls

The ultimate sacrifice I must give that I could win a few...

Win you and convert many for the WAR -

Cause if you have not noticed or realised -

We are in crisis - a desperate situation - making us instable...

Cutting us at our feet that we might not stand,

Bruising our headS!

How can we think straight if our brain is out of whack?

Too many fools striving for Independence instead of Interdependence -

cause we need one another... we are a chain link.

If one link is weak, it weakens the whole...

Is it for lack of want that we compete and fight one another for the top spot?

The blind is surely leading the blind and I am irate because

for so much intelligence, it seems to be that we have lost our way:

Each one wants his or her own turf or piece of the pie...

Like the prodigal son, I want my inheritance now and

you're yet to understand or appreciate value and what you have now -

GREED! Cause somebody told you, you had to climb that ladder!

And whatever you do or did to get there, the end  justifies the means...

Some fool said so and now we're living a rat race!

Survival of the fittest - kill or be killed!

The laws of the jungle seem to govern you and like animals

you live by the laws for lack of control.

You need to be controlled or there'll be chaos.

The word, 'harmony' does not factor in here

at some point, it fell to the wayside - lost and forgotten.

Erased from our memories...

But I'll plant a seed, deep in the recesses of your mind to germinate

Imprint it and etch it - impressing firmly on your mind...

So you'll remember:

The blood is red!

I'll blot out the profane and the insane...

These red splotches have purpose -

You MUST remember and know that when you cut me,

I BLEED!
